Onco360® Has Been Selected as a National Pharmacy Partner for ETCAMAH™ (camizestrant)

LOUISVILLE, Ky., Sept. 17, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Onco360®, the nation’s leading independent Specialty Pharmacy, has been selected as a national pharmacy partner by AstraZeneca for Etcamah™ (camizestrant), which is indicated for the treatment of adult patients with hormone receptor (HR)-positive, HER2-negative, locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer upon detection of ESR1 mutation during aromatase inhibitor (AI) and CDK4/6 inhibitor therapy, based on a US Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-authorized test.1

"The approval of Etcamah represents an important advancement in cancer care, bringing renewed hope and a meaningful new treatment option for breast cancer patients. Onco360 is honored to expand our partnership with AstraZeneca by providing access to this innovative therapy in support of the patients and caregivers we serve,” said Benito Fernandez, Chief Commercial Officer.

Etcamah is an estrogen receptor (ER) antagonist. In vitro, Etcamah binds to the ligand-binding domain of ERα, antagonizing the activity of ERα encoded by both wild-type ESR1 and mutated ESR1 and inducing proteasome-dependent degradation of ERα, without agonizing ERα.1

Etcamah’s approval was based on the phase 3 SERENA-6 study (NCT04964934), an open-label, randomized trial, evaluating Etcamah in combination with a CDK4/6 inhibitor, which reduced the risk of disease progression or death by 56% versus standard-of-care treatment with an AI (anastrozole or letrozole) in combination with a CDK4/6 inhibitor. 2 The median PFS was 16 months vs 9.2 months; HR 0.44 (95% CI 0.31–0.60). The most common (≥ 20%) adverse reactions, including laboratory abnormalities, were decreased neutrophils, decreased leukocytes, decreased hemoglobin, decreased lymphocytes, decreased platelets, visual disturbances, and fatigue.1
